Chandigarh: 11 people reportedly died in two different car accidents on Monday morning in Himachal Pradesh.

Six people died after a rock fell on a moving car. The incident took place on the Nirmand road near Rajpur, on the left side of the Satluj River. The bodies of the deceased have been found. A woman and a child were also among the dead.

As per reports the deceased hailed from Punjab.

In another accident that took place near Mandi, Sundar Nagar, 4 people died on the spot while 10 others were badly injured after a Tempo Traveller fell in a pit .Tempo traveller was going from Manali to Chandigarh, the incident was reported on NH 21

The injured have been admitted to Sundernagar Hospital by the local police.
