Akali Dal circle president Manmohan Singh Moni joins AAP under the leadership of Kulwant Singh

Mohali : While the office bearers and workers of Congress have been joining AAP for the last 20 days, today the Shiromani Akali Dal suffered a major setback when the Shiromani Akali Dal Circle Mohali President -Manmohan Singh Moni saying goodbye to the Shiromani Akali Dal, openly declared his support for AAP candidate Kulwant Singh. Accompanying the Akali leader Manmohan Singh on the occasion were a large number of Akali Dal office bearers and workers. AAP candidate and former mayor of Mohali, Kulwant Singh welcomed Manmohan Singh Moni to AAP. AAP leader Kulwant Singh also shared his views on the political life of Manmohan Singh Moni with journalists.

Kulwant Singh said that with the joining of Manmohan Singh Moni in AAP, the election campaign would get a strong boost. Manmohan Singh Moni had campaigned for Parminder Singh Sohana, joint candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal and BSP alliance from Mohali and mobilized people in favor of Suhana by rallying in support of Suhana. But Manmohan Singh Moni, fed up with the policies of the Shiromani Akali Dal and Parminder Singh Sohana, decided to join AAP. On this occasion, Manmohan Singh Moni assured Kulwant Singh and his entire team that they would soon hold a big rally in his favor and from today onwards would go door to door campaigning and appealing to the people to vote for him. On this occasion a large number of Akali workers also announced to join AAP and discussed with the AAP core committee about carrying out Kulwant Singh’s election campaign under the leadership of Manmohan Singh Moni.
