Mohali : Mind Tree School proudly celebrated its Annual Day Functions 2017-18 amidst great zest, vibrance and elation .The programmes commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by shloka chanting and a soulful shabad rendition by the school choir.

The Kindergarten show AMARANTHINE-A FLIGHT TO FANTASY exuberantly recreated a wonderland of fairy tales through the magic of theatre. ‘Cinderella’ presented by the little Mindtreeans left the audience mesmerized. The ball dance saw enthusiastic students dance on the floor with grace and poise. The riveting performance in the play ‘Aladdin’ drew huge applause followed by the Nursery kids performing like rockstars and steal the show.

Mindtreeans of Grades 1 & 2 presented ‘PASSAGE TO INDIA-A CULTURAL CAULDRON’. The function was presided over by renowned educationists, Mr. Vipin Dewan and Mrs. Smriti Sood. The show began with a cultural ramp walk exhibiting the cultural diversity of India. The multicolored folk dances followed the trail from Kashmir to North East , from Punjab to West Bengal traversing a journey across India. Performances like the Durga Puja rendition , Rajasthani folk dance , Bhangra and Giddha left the audience spellbound and wanting for more.

RESPLENDENCE-A FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE was presented by the young Mindtreeans of Grades 3-7. It emanated the flavour of the seven continents and brought global vistas into view. It was spun around educational folklores from around the world and showcased the remarkable theatrical skills of the young Mindtreeans. Director of the School ,Dr. Sanjay Sharma hugely appreciated the efforts of the students as well as staff members for success of the event which culminated with the school song.
