CHANDIGARH : Fifth day of the NSS camp included the relaxing session of Yoga for the NSS Volunteers followed by an eye-opening workshop on HIV-AIDS by Mr. Sunil Pangal from State AIDS Control Society, Chandigarh. The information about the difficulties faced by those infected by HIV-AIDS, the misconceptions about the virus, the various tests to detect HIV, the most vulnerable groups and the highest risk groups were shared with the NSS volunteers. The workshop threw light upon the appropriate way to fight HIV-AIDS through medical help and through involvement of community and creating awareness among the masses.

Second session was taken by Mr. Harminder of KB DAV-7 in which NSS volunteers hand crafted the bags and flowers to be distributed during Adult Literacy Programme to the parents of Saral Ahssas Children who have been adapted from Bapu Dham Colony and are receiving free education since 2005.
