The 18th Punjab State Golf Championship culminated at RCF Golf Club KAPURTHALA. Over 82 Golfers registered to participate in the Championship but 64 golfers teed off on day 1. After applying the cut to those who played 9 over only 26 golfers qualified to participate on the final day. Sh. AAditya Gupta , Sh. Kulwinder Singh & Sh. Jagmohan Singh main contenders for the championship teed off in the same group at 7:54AM. Sh. JAGMOHAN SINGH from RCF GOLF CLUB played a very steady game from the very beginning and produced a card of 151 and picked up a well deserved championship trophy IN PLAY OF WITH SH. ADITYA GUPTA. AADITYA GUPTA from PAP GOLF CLUB JALANDHAR was declared 1ST Runner up with a score of 151. SHAURYA SHARMA from ARMY GOLF CLUB, JALANDHAR was second runner UP with the score of 154. Sh. Ankur Yadav from Chandigarh golf club won the longest Drive on the 8th hole covering a distance of 270 yards. SH. N K Bharti from RCF golf club, Kapurthala won the nearest to pin trophy on the 10th hole. He dropped the golf ball 4 feet 3 inches far from the hole.
