The police have arrested three persons on the charge of kidnapping and murdering two cousin brothers of the district’s Gorar village.

The accused Subh Ram of Gorar village, Himanshu and Somvir, both from Jhajjar’s Jakhoda village — were on Monday produced in a local court that sent them to three days’ police custody.

The police said the accused confessed to have killed Ashok and his cousin Ombir to avenge the murder of a member of Subh Ram’s family.

The police have recovered half-burnt bodies of the victims from the fields of Kharak village in Bhiwani district. The bodies were handed over to the families after the postmortem examination today.

Investigating officer Bajinder said that on the complaint of victims’ relative Suman, a case of kidnapping was lodged in Kharkhoda police station on March 23.
