REVIEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR FUNCTION IN WHICH CM WOULD PERFORM SEWA FOR BEGINNING OF RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES

Secretary Political to Chief Minister Punjab Captain Sandeep Sandhu and Cabinet Minister Mr Charanjit Singh Channi today said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder has made unprecedented arrangements for commemorating the 550th parkash purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in an unsurpassed manner.

The Secretary Political and Cabinet Minister, accompanied by Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh and MLA Mr. Navtej Singh Cheema, today finalized the arrangements for initiation of religious functions by the Chief Minster on November 3. They said that the functions imbued in spiritual Colors would be part of the mega events being organized by the state government for commemorating the 550th parkash purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Mr. Sandhu and Mr. Channi said that the function would be a humble and befitting tribute to Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji by the state government.

The Secretary Political and the Minister said that elaborate arrangements have been made by the state government for the devotees who were converging in the holy city for the mega event. They said that the Chief Minister would perform the sewa for the initiation of Sehaj Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji tomorrow morning in the presence of Sant Samaj and thousands of devotees. Mr. Sandhu and Mr. Channi said that the bhog of the Sehaj Path would be held on November 12 adding that from November 5-12 several other religious functions would be organized to showcase the life and philosophy of great Guru Sahib.

On the occasion Deputy Commissioner Mr. DPS Kharbanda, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Satinder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rahul Chaba, Sub Divisional Magistrate Dr. Chaurmita, Mela Officer Ms. Navneet Kaur Bal and others were also present.
