Dubai bizmen ready to invest in state: CM

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said entrepreneurs in Dubai have evinced keen interest in investing in Haryana in the fields of infrastructure, health care and housing. A delegation from Dubai would visit the state next month.
Khattar was interacting with mediapersons after arriving at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, from his 3-day visit to the Arab country.
The CM said during his Dubai visit, which had been undertaken to give impetus to foreign investment in the state, he held 13 meetings with different entrepreneurial groups in just 44 hours. He said the entrepreneurs there were impressed with the state’s development, which was the result of the ease of doing business, and evinced keen interest in infrastructure development and health care, especially in the scheme for setting up a medical college each in every district.
Besides, they also showed interest in the import of wheat and rice from Haryana. Discussion was also held on sending skilled workforce to Dubai, he added.
