Most wanted gangster of Punjab Vicky Gounder was killed in an encounter at village Sukhchain on the Punjab-Rajasthan border on Friday, January 26, 2018. He was on the run for long.
The police team is learnt to have been led by CIA Incharge, Rajpura, Bikram Brar. The encounter took place near village Punjawa in the jurisdiction of the police station, Khuian Sarwar.
He was mastermind of sensational Nabha jailbreak that took place in 2016.
Gounder’s close associate Prema Lahoria too has been killed during the encounter
