PM Modi: Budget has devoted attention to all sectors

Prime Minister Modi congratulates Finance Minister for tabling Budget; Asserts it will accelerate economic growth with focus on all sectors; Assures it will help farmers tremendously and bring new opportunities for rural India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet has hailed the pathbreaking Budget. He tweeted saying: Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a path breaking initiative to provide quality and affordable healthcare. It will benefit approximately 50 crore Indians. The scale of this scheme is unparalleled and it will bring a paradigm shift in our health sector. #NewIndiaBudget

He further termed MSMEs as the backbone of our economy. Our endeavour to give a boost to MSME sector is clearly reflected in the #NewIndiaBudget.

PM said: To further ‘Ease of Living’ and to give a boost to development, the #NewIndiaBudget accords utmost importance to Next-Gen Infrastructure. The #NewIndiaBudget is farmer friendly, common citizen friendly, business environment friendly and development friendly. It goes beyond ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and focuses on ‘Ease of Living.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this budget will speed up the development in India.The farmers, Dalits, tribal communities will gain from this Budget.

Politicians, Cabinet Ministers, Industry leaders and others have welcomed the budget 2018-19 saying it addressed key aspects of the economy such as agriculture distress, rural infrastructure, science, technology, health care.

While Union information and broadcasting minister Smirti Irani said that the budget supports the cause of women empowerment.

Hailing the budget as pro-poor and pro-farmers, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that government has committed to provide 8 crore free gas connections to women under UJJWALA Yojana.

While, in an exclusive interview with DD News, union transport minister Nitin Gadkari said that the budget will help boost connectivity in rural areas.

Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has hailed the Union Budget 2018 presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley saying the proposed two defence industrial corridors in the country will promote domestic production in both public and private sectors.

BJP Chief Amit Shah welcomed the budget 2018-19 saying it addressed key aspects of the economy such as agriculture distress, rural infrastructure, science, technology, health care.. BJP chief said that healthcare programme announced by the government is already being dubbed as NaMo Care.

BJP Chief also said that the budget contains provisions which can insulate farmers from distress sale and poor income.

Amit Shah also said that government plans to strengthen electricity transmission in rural areas under ‘Saubhagya Yojana’.
