Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today said that he had received complaints about an alleged leak of CBSE’s Class 12 Accountancy paper. Sisodia, also Delhi’s Education Minister, said he had directed officers of the Directorate of Education to look into the matter and lodge a complaint with the examination board.

However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which called an urgent meeting to discuss the issue, denied allegations of paper leak, asserting that all seals were found intact in the examination centres.

The board stated that at the local level some miscreants may have played mischief by circulating messages through WhatsApp and other social media platforms to hurt the sanctity of the exam. “The board has decided to take strict action against such activities. An FIR is being lodged,” said a senior board official.

Taking to Twitter, Sisodia said, “Received complaints about the Class 12 CBSE Accountancy paper being leaked… swift action must be taken so that hard-working students don’t suffer due to negligence of CBSE.”
