Bollywood actor Salman Khan shot for the last leg of his movie ‘Race 3’ at Sonamarg on the Kashmir-Ladakh axis.

Khan, who had arrived here on Monday evening, shot at the Thajiwas glacier on Tuesday and Wednesday. Even as a few photographs of Khan and the film crew driving battery powered vehicles at Sonamarg surfaced on the social networking websites, the shooting was held under tight security.

Eyewitnesses said locals and tourists were angry for not being allowed to visit the shooting area amid ban on vehicular movement on the Sonamarg-Thajiwas road following court orders.

Khan and the crew members had also met Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday as a photograph of the meeting was shared by producer Ramesh Taurani on Twitter.
