The star-studded cast of ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s next venture, to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj, has added well-known actor Trisha Krishnan, who will work with Rajinikanth for the first time.

“Trisha joins the cast of Superstar Rajini’s next movie,” Sun Pictures, producers of the film, said in a brief release.

This will be the “first time” Trisha will be acting with Rajinikanth, Sun Pictures said in a tweet.

Rajinikanth, who had recently dished out the multi-lingual Kaala, is now working with director Karthik Subbaraj of Pizza fame.

The as-yet-untitled will also feature top actors such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Sethupathy and Simran. In April, the makers announced that Vijay Sethupathi, who shares a long-standing relationship with Karthik Subbaraj, is also part of the project and will be seen in a crucial role. While it’s rumoured that he plays the antagonist, neither Vijay nor the makers have confirmed it.
