September 6: At very young age, Narendra Modi started assisting his father to sell tea at Vadnagar Railway Station. He used to spent post school with his father offering tea to the railway passengers and passers-by. And as he grows up, during his teenage, with the help of his brother, he ran the tea stall near a bus terminal. When he was 8 years old, he came into contact with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and was inducted as the Junior Cadet in RSS. Later on, he started attending its local branch (Sthaaniya Shakha).
