PAU’s ENGINEERING COLLEGE GETS OUTSTANDING INSTITUTE AWARD
LUDHIANA,
The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (COAE&T), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been awarded an “Outstanding Institute Award 2016-17” by the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Dr J.S. Mahal, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, received the award on the occasion of Golden Jubilee celebrations of NITTTR.
The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, PAU, is the only institute in Punjab which has been selected for this prestigious award in the category of technical institutions offering degree programmes in engineering discipline in the Northern region covering Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Chandigarh region.
Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, congratulated COAE&T for this recognition. He appreciated the contribution made by this College in research, teaching and extension activities in the discipline of agricultural engineering.
Dr Mahal acknowledged the efforts made by the faculty, students and staff for this achievement.
