In Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed and three army personnel injured in a gunfight that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Chatergam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district early Wednesday morning.

However, the bodies of the slain terrorists bodies are yet to be retrieved.

Three army personnel were injured during the initial phase of gunfight.

Security sources said that encounter started between terrorists and joint team of forces after forces zeroed in on the suspected place following inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.

The identity and group affiliation of the killed terrorists are being ascertained.
