There is no end in sight as far as the repeated adjournments in both the houses are concerned.

Vociferous opposition persisted with its demands in both the houses, forcing the chair to adjourn the proceedings.

The Rajya Sabha was first adjourned till 2.30 pm and again it was adjourned till 27 December.

The lower house also saw uproarious scenes as members trooped to the well shouting slogans and raising demands.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned first till Noon and later it was also adjouned till 27 December.

Meanwhile, Lok Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is scheduled to hold Rules Committee meeting on Friday.
