Senior National Conference leader and former Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Mubarak Gul on Saturday congratulated Lok Sabha MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura on being selected as national president of a newly formed political party namely, Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) in Punjab.

Former Speaker Mubarak Gul is also considered to be close aide of Chief Patron of National Conference and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Farooq Abdullah, with whom he worked as his Advisor.

In his message, ” Former Speaker Mubarak Gul said that MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura has 6 decades of experience in this political field which is not short and I’m sure the newly constituted party will run smoothly under his dynamic leadership because he has all the capabilities and management skills required for the strengthening of organization”.

I Congratulate MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and his entire party and I hope they will work for the upliftment of poor people and I further hope they will upto the expectations of the people of state and country,” former speaker said in statement”.
