Rajya Sabha saw repeated adjournments on Wednesday as AIADMK and DMK members protested over the Cauvery river dam issue while many Congress MPs raised slogans for a JPC probe into the Rafale fighter jet deal.

The AIADMK members trooped into the Well of the House and raised slogans demanding justice. The Rajya Sabha was finally adjourned for the day.

Earlier, when the House met at 2 pm after repeated adjournments, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh moved the Statutory Resolution for approval of the Presidential proclamation issued on 19th of December 2018 for Central Rule in Jammu and Kashmir after dissolution of the State Assembly.
