Prime Minister Modi says Central Government is committed to the development of Punjab and empowerment of farmers; Addressing a public meeting at Gurdaspur, says the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji “Kirat, name Japo, Vad shako” will be a taken to every corner of the world on his 550th birth anniversary next year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the beginning of 2019 by addressing a public rally at Gurdaspur in Punjab. Amid great euphoria, PM said that seeing the demand of crores of Sikh people the govt took historic decision of making Kartarpur corridor. PM also slammed Congress for playing politics over national security, and even today they are spreading lies to weaken the defence forces.

Prime Minister said that Congress is known for shielding the accused of 1984 anti-Sikh riots and its the NDA government who exposed the culprits and constituted SIT.

Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed government’s commitment for the welfare of farmers and hits out at Congress for opposing the rights of farmers.

PM said that Congress indulging in politics of lies and never implemented recommendations of Swaminathan Commission report for providing relief to farmers.
