CM CONDOLES PASSING AWAY OF FORMER MINISTER DALIP SINGH PANDHI

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday mourned the sad demise of the former Minister and member of Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes Dalip Singh Pandhi (82), who passed away at Patiala this morning after a brief illness. He is survived by his daughter.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Pandhi as a grassroots leader, who worked relentlessly for uplift of downtrodden throughout his life. His remarkable contribution to safeguard the interests of oppressed sections of the society would be ever remembered by one and all.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families, friends and relatives, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give courage to them to bear this irreparable loss and grant peace to the departed soul.
