Nation remembers Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on their martyrdom day, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi salute the three sons of Mother India.

The nation is observing Shaheed Diwas or Martyr’s Day today. Each year, March 23 , homage is paid to the great revolutionary fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembers the freedom fighters on shaheedi diwas. In a tweet, PM said Sacrifice given by the brave sons of Mother India will keep inspiring us. Jai Hind.” PM also shared a video in remembering their martyrdom.

It was on March 23, 1931, three young freedom fighters were hanged to death in the Lahore Central Jail. 88 years later, the country is remembering the martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.
