Supreme Court has adjourned hearing, on a bunch of petitions challenging 10 percent reservation to economically weaker sections of the general category in jobs and education.

The next hearing has been scheduled for 8th of April. Petitioners were seeking an early hearing on the matter.

Advocate Rajeev Dhawan said that the maximum limit for reservation is 50 percent and exceeding it, is a breach of the court’s order so a constitutional bench should hear the matter.
