The Election Commission of India (ECI) today gave its nod for the posting orders of 269 police officers.

Divulging further, the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju said that the Punjab Government has sought clarification on the posting process of 269 police officers in separate investigation cadre in the Punjab Bureau of investigation and the commission in a letter said that it has no objection if the state will initiate the posting process.
