The Election Commission of India (ECI) has approved the proposal of District Election Officer (DEO), Amritsar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar & Ludhiana for change of building of polling stations.

Disclosing this here today Chief Electoral Officer Punjab Dr. S Karuna Raju said that ECI has directed the District Election Officer, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar & Ludhiana to take necessary action in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Chapter-ll of Handbook for Returning Officer-2019 and Political Parties should be informed in writing.
