Rahul Chahar took 3 wickets while Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians had won the toss and opted to bat. Hardik Pandya, 32 off 15 and Krunal Pandya 37 not out off 26 provided a much needed late onslaught by hammering 51 runs off the last 18 balls to put Mumbai Indians 168 for 5. Opener Quinton de Kock hit 35 runs.
