The Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana organized a programme on “Swachhta Hi Seva”, under the Swachh Bharat Mission of Govt. of India for creating awareness on sanitation and hygiene. A pledge on maintaining cleanliness was taken under the leadership of Dr.Jaswinder Singh Bhalla, Head, Department of Extension Education, who is also serving as Brand Ambassador for ‘Mission Swachh and Swasth Punjab’ Campaign by Govt. of Punjab . Dr Bhalla exhorted the students and the faculty to contribute towards improving the levels of cleanliness in the country. The faculty, staff and students of the department participated in this programme with full enthusiasm and cleaned the surroundings of the premises.
