Prime Minister Narendra Modi calls upon BJP MPs to put a greater focus on water conservation; PM attends BJP parliamentary party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister says there will be a healthy competition among states on water conservation.

He also urged MPs to participate wholeheartedly in the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi as well as the tree plantation drive launched by the party.

Jal Shakti Minister in his presentation called for a healthy competition amongst states in water conservation efforts. He said that those states that performed well, will be given all possible support from the Centre. Once again participation of aspirational districts was stressed upon.
