PM Modi arrives in Ahmedabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday night. PM was received at the airport by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, his cabinet colleagues and senior officials of the state government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi waved to people gathered outside on the road as his convoy passed from the airport to the city.

PM will visit Gujarat’s Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada river on Tuesday. The water level has reached its highest level till date of 138.68 metres. The PM will launch the “Namami Narmade” festival.

The Prime Minister will visit the dam site at Kevadiya in Narmada district on his 69th birthday to attend the “Namami Narmade Mahotsava” to celebrate the water level milestone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Sardar Sarovar Dam In Narmada in Gujarat and offer prayers there on his 69th birthday on 17th September.

The Water Level In Sardar Sarovar Dam In Kevadiya In Narmada District reached Its Highest Capacity at 138.68 Metres on Sunday, Since its height was raised in 2017.

In 2014, Permission Was granted to raise the height of this mega Dam from 121.92 metres to 138.68 Metres

This Means There Shall be no water scarcity in Gujarat For At least next 2 years Narmada is considered to be the lifeline of Gujarat
