Kejriwal ropes in Kishor for Delhi’s ‘do-or-die’ elections

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today roped in poll strategist Prashant Kishor with eyes on the upcoming do or die Assembly election battle of Delhi. AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the tie-up with the Indian Political Action Committee on Twitter today after keeping his engagement with Kishor secret for months.

Importantly, after the 2017 Punjab poll results in which the Congress Party had defeated AAP comprehensively, IPAC, official strategists for then Congress CM candidate Amarinder Singh, had publicly hailed Kejriwal’s outfit as a tough challenger.

“To all AAP volunteers and grassroots workers, you were one of the toughest competitors we faced!” IPAC tweeted on March 11, 2017.Kejriwal and Kishor were in touch since March 2017 to see if AAP and IPAC could work together.
