India summons Pakistan’s Charge d’affaires over Nankana Sahib attack
India on Monday summoned Pakistan’s Chargé d’ affaires Syed Haider Shah and lodged a strong protest over desicration of the Nankana Sahib gurudwara and the targeted killing of minority Sikh community member in Peshawar.
The External Affairs Ministry said the diplomat was conveyed that Pakistan should ensure safety, security and welfare of members of minority communities.
It was also conveyed to Pakistan to take immediate steps to bring to justice, the perpetrators in the Nankana Sahib incident and killing of the Sikh youth.
