BJP seeks report from Delhi unit over poll debacle
The central BJP leadership has sought a report from the Delhi state unit over the party’s debacle in the recently held elections.
The state unit will also hold a meeting tomorrow to analyse the loss, sources said following a meeting called by BJP president JP Nadda with Delhi unit head Manoj Tiwari and general secretary BL Santosh. The meeting will be attended by a three-member central team they added.
It was observed that the party fought the February 8 elections with its full strength and reached voters across the National Capital, sources said, adding in future the party should prepare for bipolar contests.
