Ministry of Home AFfairs has given special CP S. N. Shrivastava the additional charge of commissioner of Police of Delhi as the current CP Amulya Patnaik retires tomorrow.S. N. Shrivastava said that delhi police has carried out extensive outreach programme to maintain peace.

Meanwhile ,Additional Commisioner of police O.P Mishra today carried out a flag march in Chand bagh area of North East Delhi as a confidence building measure.He said that situation is improving and people should not have any fear at all.
