Bollywood star Aamir Khan donated Rs 25 lakh to the Bihar flood victims.

Recently, Aamir during the promotional event for his next film Secret Superstar also urged people to contribute towards the Bihar Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in view of the devastating floods.

Aamir said: “See, we have no hand in natural calamities. But what we can do is we can help and contribute for the betterment of the situation. I request all the citizens of our country … please contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Bihar so that our government also can do their work for the betterment of the situation.”

Khan has sent across a cheque of Rs 25 lakh on behalf of his film production company, Aamir Khan Productions Ltd, to the victims, said an official statement, reports PTI.

Meanwhile a report by Hindustan Times stated that the cheque arrived through courier and was received at the office of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
