A special CBI court in Delhi today extended the CBI custody of Christian Michel by another four days. Michel is the alleged middleman who has been charge-sheeted and arrested in the graft-tainted AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal.

The CBI had earlier informed the court that they needed to confront Michel with some documents and witnesses, and take him to Mumbai too. Michel is one of the three middlemen being probed in the VVIP chopper case by the ED and the CBI.

He was brought to India on the night of December 4, following his extradition by the UAE in connection with the case.
