Air India Served Cockroach In Food Plates To First Class Passenger

New Delhi: An Air India traveler did not have the amazing experience while eating her food at the VIP lounge of Air India at Delhi airplane terminal. The traveler, writer Harinder Baweja, found a cockroach on her food plate at the lounge.

She took to Twitter to gripe about the same, constraining the carrier to delicate an expression of remorse.

She said, “Dear @airindiain cockroaches on food plates at your Delhi Lounge for business and five star travelers. Disgusting,” Harinder Baweja, a journalist, tweeted alongside a photo of a bug on her plate.

The aircraft apologized for the episode on the small scale blogging webpage and said the cooking administrations supplier had been requested to take restorative measures.

“We are sorry to hear this, Ms Harinder…We have alerted the agency managing lounge at T3 (Terminal 3). Necessary corrective measures are being taken immediately. We deeply apologise for this incident,” it reacted in a progression of tweets.

Another passenger Rahul Raghuvanshi was served cockroach in his food.

A carrier source said that Air India backup Hotel Corporation of India, which oversees Centaur gathering of lodgings, gives providing food administrations at its parlor.

This comes right around a year after a traveler whined about a cockroach he seen in his dinner on an Air India flight to Chicago. The traveler had shared a pic of the same on Twitter.

Air India had offered an expression of remorse over the occurrence and had issued a notice to the cook concerned. The aircraft had tweeted, “We have zero resilience arrangement in this regard. Compulsory move is making place.
