All Four accused in Disha rape and murder case killed in an encounter that took place at Chatanpally in Shadnagar near Hyderabad in early hours on Friday.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar confirmed the encounter and death of the four accused. All four accused in the rape-and-murder case of a 25-year-old woman veterinarian last month were killed in an exchange of fire with police on Friday morning, police said.

The incident took place when the accused were taken to the site of the offence for reconstruction of the scene of the crime as part of the investigation, a senior police official said. According to initial reports, the police were trying to reconstruct the crime scene when the accused tried to escape.Police opened fire after due warnings and all four died on the spot.
