Taking stern view of media reports, the Labour Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Thursday suspended the Additional Director Factories, M.P. Beri besides contemplating serious administrative action against him.

Disclosing this here today, spokesperson of the Government said that the above employee was shown accepting bribe of Rs. 25,000.Reiterating Government’s firm commitment to weed out corruption from system, Balbir Singh Sidhu warned anyone found involved in illicit practices would be strongly dealt with.
