BIHAR Nitin Gadkari launched several development projects
Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated various road projects in Motihari in East Champaran district of Bihar.
He laid the foundation stone for projects worth 2540 crore rupees. These include widening of the 83.24 km Siwan-Mashrakh-Rajapatti-Kesariya-Chakiya section of Ram Janaki Marg, four laning of the 81.11 km Manikpur-Sahebganj-Kesariya-Areraj section of NH-74 , reconstruction of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue and three entry gates on NH-28 and 28A in East Champaran district at a cost of 93.91 lakh rupees.
The Minister also initiated the development of 300-kilometre long river route from Hajipur to Triveni Ghat under dredging work in Gandak river for facilitating water transport.
