Mr. Brahm Mohindra, Health Minister,Punjab expressed grief on the sad demise of Senior Congress Leader & Former Punjab Finance Minister , Mr. Surinder Singla who passed away this morning at All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( AIIMS).

In a condolence message Mr. Brahm Mohindra said that he is very sad to know the sudden demise of his former colleague who has worked tirelessly for building the congress cadre in the state. He said that Mr. Singla throughout his life fought for the cause of unprivileged and poor sections of the society. He was the flag bearer in building the Bathinda constituency. Mr. Brham Mohindra prayed the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.

Mr. Singla is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
