In Badminton, India’s PV Sindhu recorded a consolation win over Chinese He Bing Jiao in the third group A match of the BWF World Tour Final in China on Friday.After being down in the opening game, Sindhu eventually outwitted Bing Jiao 21-19, 21-19 and finished third in the group.

This win also snapped Sindhu’s run of four straight losses to the Chinese, making their head-to-head record 6-9.
