CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOPS AIMED AT IMPARTING QUALITY EDUCATION TO STUDENTS AND SHARPENING THE SKILLS OF TEACHERS- SHRUTI SHUKLA

In order to sharpen the expertise of the teachers of Education department, a capacity building program was being carried on by the department in the district under which the teachers were imparted training of various subjects.
Divulging the details State Coordinator cum Deputy Director Guidance Bureau Dr. Shruti Shukla said that the main motive behind it was to ensure that quality education was imparted to the students. Dr. Shukla, who conducted a surprise check in one such workshop at Government Secondary School Ladowali road, today said that both the teachers and the students would be immensely benefitted from these workshops. She said that these workshops would keep the teachers abreast about the new developments in field of education and enhance their skills on one hand and benefit the students by providing quality education from their teachers on the other.
She also had interactive session with the teachers on the subjects of learning by doing, activities based learning and use of audio-video aids in teaching. Dr. Shulka said that in order to ensure that the students were imparted quality education as per the prevalent times, the teachers would have to equip themselves with the latest knowledge and trend in field of education. She said that the teachers must share the information gathered from such workshops with their other peers so as to ensure that the standard of education was enhanced considerably.
