The Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju on Monday handed over CDs of Integrated draft electoral roll to the representatives of various political parties of the state at his office here.

Addressing the meeting, Dr. Raju informed that final publication of electoral rolls will be done in the first week of February 2020. He further appealed to all the political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs).The elector verification program (EVP) activity was started on September 1st, 2019 and had ended on November 30, 2019.

Divulging more, he said that the Claims and objections would be taken from December 16, 2019 to January 15, 2020 and disposal of claims will be done by January 27, 2020.
