CM SHOULD TELL SIDHU TO MEND HIS WAYS OTHERWISE WE WILL GIVE HIM A BEFITTING RESPONSE : SIRSA
New Delhi, January 16 : The Delhi MLA and Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today condemned Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Navjot Sidhu for using foul language against Union Cabinet Minister Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal and urged Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh to tell Sidhu to mend his ways or otherwise the Shiromani Akali Dal will give him a befitting response.
In a statement released here today, Mr. Sirsa said that it was shocking that Mr. Sidhu has become habitual offender to use derogatory language against the women whom the sikh guru sahiban had told to hold in high esteem. He said that Guru Nanak Dev ji has said ‘so kyo manda akhiye jit jamme rajaan…’ but it was surprising that Mr. Sidhu has forget every teaching of sikh Gurus and is pursuing what he use to do in his laughter show using foul language against the women.
The DSGMC General Secretary urged the Punjab Chief Minister to reign in his minister and remind him of his constitutional status and teach him using a language of decency. He said that this was not the first time when he has used such language for women. Earlier he had termed ex Congress Chief Mrs. Sonia Gandhi as ‘munni’(dancer). He also urged Mr. Rahul Gandhi to direct his Punjab CM to teach his cabinet minister to control his tongue. He said that though he had not reacted to ‘munni’ (dancer) language of Mr. Sidhu but it was intolerable for the SAD using such indecent language.
Mr. Sirsa also warned Mr. Sidhu that if he fails to mend his ways and continues using derogatory and defamatory language against the women folk then the SAD will gherao him.
