Congress party on Monday promises that country’s 20 per cent, most poor families will get 72 thousand rupees yearly under minimum basic income guarantee scheme.

Party President Rahul Gandhi said, five crore families and 25 crore people will directly benefit from this scheme.

Addressing media after Congress working committee meeting in New Delhi, Gandhi said, his party is committed for the upliftment of poor people.

He alleged that poor people have suffered in the last five years and Congress will give justice to them.
