Two terrorists carrying ‘pithu’ bags and armed with AK 47 approaching towards a CRPF camp was observed by the alert OP sentry who immediately open fire at

0430 hrs at Karan Nagar in Srinagar.

The terrorists fled from the spot following which search of the camp periphery is going on.

One CRPF personnel succumbed to his injuries.

The building is located outside the camp premises.

Alert CRPF sentry effective fire prevented terrorists entering in to the camp.
