Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday met Wing Commander Abhinandan at the Army Hospital in New Delhi.

The Defence Minister conveyed to him that the entire nation is proud of his courage and determination. She also enquired about his health and condition.

Varthaman’s wife SqnLdrTanviMarwah, son, his sister and a few senior military officials were present in the meeting.

Currently, Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan is undergoing medical tests at the Army Hospital in New Delhi.
