Dense fog blanketed the national capital and its neighbouring region Monday morning.There was near-zero visibility and several train coming to Delhi and different parts of North India are running late due to fog.

Flight operations were also affected due to fog. According to MeT officials, “Today there will be partly cloudy sky with haze and smoke. Maximum and Minimum temperature will hover arround 21 and 09 degree celcius.”

The air quality was in the poor category Monday morning and the AQI was recorded 285 at 6 AM.Due to cold wave which is gripping the region, a large number of people are taking refuge at night shelters in various parts of the city.
