On the sidelines of ADIPEC 2018, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday had a crucial meeting with the Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Al Falih and discussed the prevailing global oil market .

The Minister underlined India’s concerns on the volatility of the crude price to his Saudi counterpart.

The Saudis appreciated India’s concern for responsible pricing and assured India of all assistance in times of need.

The Saudi Minister in turn assured reliability in supplies and to take care of any short fall.

The mega refinery in Maharashtra which is being made with the investment of UAE and Saudi Arabia was also discussed by the two sides.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Navdeep Suri, Sanjiv Singh , Chairman IOCL , MK Surana, CMD HPCL , BS Pradhan , PS to Minister and Prafulla Chandra Sharma DS .
