The first-ever reading session of Bandhu Sharma’s Dogri short stories was organised at the KL Saigal Hall in Abhinav Theatre.

A reading of these short stories was also held in England, Australia, Switzerland, Oman, the US, Delhi and Mumbai.

Bandhu Sharma was a distinguished figure in the Dogri literary world. In his short span of literary life, he published three short story books, namely ‘Parshamein’, ‘Keengre’ and ‘Meel Pathhar’, and a book of essays on music of Duggarland titled ‘Sur Dharti De’.

Many eminent personalities from the Dogri literary world spoke fondly of Bandhu Sharma. Pandit Vidya Rattan Assi shared his personal experiences. Narsingh Dev Jamwal said Bandhu Sharma was the inspiration behind his work.
